I Am Alive and in Belarus: Lukashenko
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has denied information that he has left the country. According to РИА Новости, Lukashenko stated, “To begin with, I will say that I am still alive and not abroad, as some of our esteemed ‘conscious’ individuals are circulating.”
It is worth recalling that on August 9, presidential elections were held in Belarus. Following the closure of polling stations, unauthorized protests began against the alleged rigging of the results.
