Washington Hopes to Collaborate with EU to Resolve Belarus Crisis
The U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has announced that Washington hopes to work with the EU to address the ongoing crisis in Belarus. According to reports from Armenpress, this was stated by AFP.
“I am confident that the EU and the U.S. share the same concerns about what is happening in Belarus, and I am hopeful that we will be able to work together to resolve the crisis,” Pompeo stated during a conversation with journalists in Slovenia.
In turn, Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša noted that the only peaceful solution lies in holding repeat elections or the presence of an international observation mission.
