Turkish Forces Kill 3 PKK Militants in Bitlis
In the eastern province of Bitlis (Baghes) in Turkey, three Kurdish militants were killed during an operation conducted by gendarmerie units with the support of Turkish air forces. This was announced by Turkey's Ministry of Interior, as reported by ermenihaber.am.
According to the ministry's statement, the operation was carried out by elite units of the Bitlis provincial gendarmerie and gendarmerie command forces, citing "internal security concerns." It has been noted that in the last two days, Turkish forces have killed a total of six Kurdish militants, with three in Bitlis and three in the Hakkari province.
Additionally, the weapons of the Kurdish militants were also destroyed. It is important to mention that the mentioned operation is aimed at the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which is considered a terrorist organization in Turkey.
