2 Tons and 219 Kilograms of Wild-Grown Cannabis Discovered and Destroyed by Burning
As part of the complex operational-preventive measure "Cannabis-Poppy-2020", on August 12-13, officers from the Anti-Narcotics Trafficking Department of the RA Police and the territorial subdivisions of the police discovered and burned 2 tons and 219 kilograms of wild-grown cannabis. This was reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
In addition, 162 cannabis plants were discovered and confiscated from 11 adjoining plots of land. As a result of operational information obtained during the measures, 76 grams of marijuana, 200 grams of cannabis, and opium were seized from illegal drug trafficking. The complex operational-preventive measure continues.
