Woman in Yerevan Threatens to Throw Child from Balcony to Prevent Illegal Dismantling
On August 12, at 15:35, the National Crisis Management Center received information that a resident of an apartment on the second floor of a building at 1 Kievyan Street in Yerevan was obstructing the dismantling of an illegal balcony by threatening to throw a child from the balcony.
A psychologist from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Psychological Support Department and a rescue team from the Yerevan Rescue Service were dispatched to the scene; however, the latter returned due to the situation being resolved.
The psychologist conducted a psychological conversation with the resident on-site. As a result of the measures taken, the balcony was dismantled.
It should be noted that earlier, the mayor's spokesperson, Hakob Karapetyan, had commented on the dismantling of this balcony.
