Court Hearing Underway in Case of David Sanasaryan and Others
The trial of David Sanasaryan, the head of the State Revenue Committee (his powers temporarily suspended), and former employees of the committee is currently underway at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan, presided over by Judge David Balayan, on August 10.
It is important to note that two of the defendants' lawyers did not appear at the hearing; however, the court decided to continue the session.
Recall that David Sanasaryan has been charged under Part 1 of Article 308 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia for abuse of official authority. The measure of restraint chosen for him is a signature not to leave.
