Lebanon's Information Minister Resigns
Lebanon's Information Minister Manal Abdel Samad Najd has announced her resignation due to the government's actions during the current critical period, reported Lebanon's MTV television channel.
"I apologize to the Lebanese people for our inability to meet their expectations. Changes were unattainable, as reality does not match aspirations, and after the horrific disaster that occurred in Beirut, I have submitted my resignation," her statement said.
