Major Car Accident in Syunik Region: 64-Year-Old Iranian Driver Overturns Truck

On August 7, a major car accident occurred in the Syunik region. SHAMSHYAN.com reports that around 19:10, Iranian citizen 64-year-old Isa Mugdani Agdan overturned his Nissan truck on a 30 km stretch of the Meghri-Kapan road under still unknown circumstances.

Fortunately, there are no reports of injuries. A firefighting unit from the Syunik regional emergency rescue service promptly arrived at the scene.

The firefighters disconnected the vehicle’s power supply, closed the gas tank, and secured the area. Officers from the 2nd squadron of the 6th platoon of the Road Police, led by platoon commander Gegham Margaryan, also arrived quickly at the location. A medical team also arrived, but the driver refused medical assistance, stating that he felt fine and had not sustained any injuries.
