Major and Tragic Car Accident in Ararat Region, 1 Fatality and 5 Injured

Today, on August 8, a major and tragic car accident occurred in the Ararat region. At around 08:40, on the 68 km stretch of the Yerevan-Erasakh-Meghri highway, a head-on collision took place between Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Ipsum vehicles.

According to Shamshyan.com from the scene, six individuals with varying degrees of bodily injuries were transported to the 'Ararat' medical center. One of the injured succumbed to injuries on the way.

Some of the injured had to be extricated from the vehicles by rescuers using specialized equipment.
