Video: Stabbing in Kasakh Village, One Person Arrested

On July 31, shortly after midnight, the police department of Nairi received a report from a hospital that a 51-year-old man had been admitted with stab wounds to the chest and abdomen.

An operational group was dispatched to the medical center. The police were unable to speak with the victim as he was undergoing surgery. The woman reported that her husband sustained the injury after falling in Kasakh village. However, the investigative body uncovered different details.

As a result of urgent measures taken, investigators learned that the victim had been stabbed during a dispute near a restaurant in the administrative area of Kasakh village by a 40-year-old resident of Masis, who has previously been convicted multiple times for different crimes.

Following explanatory work by law enforcement, the suspect turned himself in to the Nairi police department around 4 PM on August 4 and was arrested. A criminal case has been initiated based on the stabbing incident, and the circumstances are under investigation.
