Russia Will Open Borders with Kazakhstan No Sooner Than October
Russia will not open its borders with Kazakhstan until at least October 2020, while the situation with other CIS countries remains unpredictable, stated Mikhail Maltsev, Executive Director of the Ural Tourism Association.
According to him, at the beginning of summer, it was expected that the borders would be open by July 15; however, those predictions did not come to fruition. As of today, the situation regarding the opening of borders with former Soviet republics remains uncertain.
