NOVATEL Company Plans to Acquire VEON Armenia LLC

NOVATEL Company announces its serious intention to acquire 100% of the shares of VEON Armenia LLC. As a result of the studies conducted, NOVATEL has concluded that it is crucial to develop the following telecommunications sectors in the Republic of Armenia, with particular attention to improving the quality of communication in border areas and rural communities:

• Mobile communication services
• Public fixed-line telephone services
• Fixed broadband internet services for retail
• Fixed broadband internet services for wholesale
• Television retransmission services
• Termination services for calls

The company highly values the qualifications of the engineering, technical, and service personnel currently working at VEON Armenia and expresses its readiness to effectively manage the company upon acquiring the shares. A priority will be given to increasing the number of subscribers and improving the quality of communication within the framework of investment programs.
