Where Was the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs During the Conflicts with Azerbaijanis? Angela Elibegova
Azerbaijan expert Angela Elibegova wrote on her Facebook page: "Today, the Prime Minister dismissed 10 employees from the Office of the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, including heads of departments and divisions. Three questions arise from this situation:
- If the office has at least 10 departments and divisions, how many people work in the entire structure and what programs have been implemented during this time, what results have been achieved?
- Why has the commissioner, who faced obvious issues, not been removed? Where was he during these conflicts with Azerbaijanis and what was he occupied with?
- What measures have been taken to ensure the safety, legal assistance, and connections with community structures of our fellow citizens in the future?
Am I mistaken in recalling that the Diaspora was included as a primary value in the state strategy? Now, tell us about the mechanisms, tools, and strategic plan."
