145 Children Recover from Covid-19 at Muratsan University Pediatric Hospital
Muratsan University Pediatric Hospital has treated 18,186 children in the last six months, with 12,242 receiving outpatient care and 5,944 hospitalized. Under the skilled supervision of university epidemiologists, 145 children have overcome the coronavirus pandemic, including 59 infants aged 0-2 months.
In the past 180 days, the medical staff of the university pediatric hospital has successfully treated 117 children with acute gastroenteritis, 98 with acute intestinal infections, and 16 suffering from leishmaniasis. Additionally, 12 children have recovered from fever of unknown origin, while 7 children affected by brucellosis are already home. One case of malaria was recorded, and 12 children were diagnosed and treated for salmonellosis, 22 for infectious mononucleosis, and 11 children have recovered from whooping cough.
The university neonatal ambulance service has made 298 calls in the last 180 days, with 243 from the regions and 55 from Yerevan.
