Major Accident in Lori: UAZ and 2 Opel Astras Collide; Injuries Reported
A major traffic accident occurred in the Lori region today. At around 10:30 AM, on the 2nd km of the Vanadzor-Stepanavan highway, a collision took place involving a UAZ vehicle driven by 51-year-old Robert Movsesyan from Vanadzor and two Opel Astra cars; one driven by 20-year-old Aram Sukiasyan from Tashir and the other by 23-year-old Davit Galoyan.
According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, 21-year-old Sayat Sukiasyan, a passenger in Davit Galoyan’s vehicle, and the UAZ driver Robert Movsesyan were taken to the Stepanavan Medical Center with injuries.
The collision caused the UAZ to partially block the roadway, resulting in one-way traffic, while one of the Opels veered off the traffic lane.
