The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, State Duma deputy Vladimir Zhirinovsky condemned the interethnic conflict that arose at 'Food City' and expressed hope that such an incident will not happen again. This was reported by Regnum.

“This is not the taiga, nor the steppe or mountains, where you impose your wild, barbaric methods – you will trade, but you will not, you are of another nation, this is unacceptable,” Zhirinovsky stated.

“I hope no one will have the desire to regulate the sale of fruits at any point in Moscow,” Zhirinovsky added.
