Well, Perhaps It's Time to Refresh the Neighboring Country's Monarch's Memory. Senor Hasratyan
Yesterday, the monarch of the neighboring country made yet another grandiloquent statement, during which he notably used the following phrasing: "...When we dealt a devastating blow to Armenia, they immediately rushed to the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) asking for protection..." Concluding, he also boasted, "Fight us face to face, and we'll see who wins." This was reported on Facebook by the head of Artsakh's Defense Army's information and public relations department, Senor Hasratyan.
"Well, perhaps it's time to refresh the neighboring country's monarch's memory. Just for him, I'll say that we have already had the opportunity to face each other on the great battlefield. This refers specifically to the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. In that war, it was the Azerbaijani side that utilized the services of Turkish, Chechen, Afghan, and Ukrainian mercenaries, but, as he would say, suffering a crushing blow, they were pushed back. Of course, President Ilham cannot remember this, and do you know why? Because when the Azerbaijani 'almighty' army and its foreign mercenaries were receiving devastating blows from our standing army on different fronts, Aliev's cowardly son was spending time in Istanbul's night casinos, suited to a 'golden youth'... And he only returned to the homeland when, at his father's request, Moscow halted the Armenian advance... This is, Mr. Monarch, the most striking example of begging for protection, which, by the way, was repeated during your time as well, in April 2016.
As for your ramblings about the Armenians 'asking for protection from the CSTO,' you know best that there was no need for it and could not be, as we prefer to fight face to face," wrote Senor Hasratyan.
