10 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Artsakh, Total Infections Reach 193
According to information provided by the Artsakh Ministry of Health, 10 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Artsakh. This was reported by the Artsakh information headquarters.
Four of the infected individuals are from the town of Martakert, members of the same family, and are currently in isolation. Additionally, two cases have been identified among residents of Askeran, who returned from Armenia and tested positive for COVID-19 at a border checkpoint during PCR testing.
The remaining four new cases have been confirmed among residents of Stepanakert, with three being contacts of previously confirmed clusters, and one linked to a new cluster. Relevant measures are being taken to clarify the contact circles of all infected individuals. Locations identified as virus clusters are subject to mandatory disinfection, and contacts are being tested.
In total, COVID-19 has been diagnosed in 193 individuals, with 144 having recovered from the illness. Currently, 39 are undergoing treatment, and a total of 80 citizens are in isolation. Over the past 24 hours, 103 samples have been taken for testing. To date, a total of 4,081 samples have been analyzed.
