Kadyrov Responds to Pompeo’s Statement on Sanctions Against Him

The President of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, has stated that he "accepts the challenge" following his inclusion in the U.S. State Department's "blacklist." According to ria.ru, Kadyrov, posing with a weapon, wrote: "Pompeo, we accept the challenge! Good, if I have violated human rights 100 times, how do you explain the imposition of sanctions on my wife and daughters? What crimes have they committed, and whose rights have been violated? You have no answer to this question." Earlier, it was reported that the U.S. State Department announced the inclusion of Ramzan Kadyrov in the "blacklist," which the agency stated is directly related to violations of human rights.
