No Evacuation Calls Made to Tavush Residents, Ministry of Emergency Situations Denies Claims
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia has urged the public not to spread misinformation. This was stated in a post on their official Facebook page.
"Information is circulating on social media regarding calls for evacuation made by the employees of the Tavush regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. We officially announce that this news is not true. The Ministry continues to effectively and closely cooperate with the Armed Forces, as well as state and local government bodies. We urge everyone to refrain from spreading misinformation," the ministry stated.
