Gagik Tsarukyan Orders Free Parking for Apricot-Filled Trucks in St. Petersburg
Under the directive of Gagik Tsarukyan, free parking has been provided for trucks loaded with apricots, and opportunities for sales have been granted in St. Petersburg. This was reported by Iveta Tonoyan, the spokesperson for the Prosperous Armenia faction, on her Facebook page.
"Recent events at the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan have significantly affected matters not only in those countries but also beyond their borders. Unfortunately, this has also impacted several large wholesale markets in Moscow and St. Petersburg. According to observers and eyewitnesses, trucks loaded with Armenian goods were removed from various commercial bases near midnight. Many suppliers have pointed out the circumstances of the products being spoiled, making it impossible to sell them later, which, undoubtedly, can affect the well-being of many families,” she stated.
Our compatriots residing in Russia reached out to Gagik Tsarukyan, the founder of LeoMall shopping center, and contacted the media, as well as disseminated information online. Following these steps, Tsarukyan discussed with the managers of the LeoMall shopping center located at 59 Planernaya Street in St. Petersburg about organizing trade on a gratuitous basis, including providing space inside the complex for all Armenian suppliers to sell goods being exported from the markets, as well as the possibility of relocating trucks full of goods to the shopping complex's parking area to ensure the safety of Armenian agricultural products and their subsequent sale.
Tsarukyan also instructed that in case of even minor aggression or provocations on an ethnic basis, contact should be made immediately with the law enforcement bodies of the Armenian Union of Russia and St. Petersburg for cooperation and inform the executive authorities in St. Petersburg to clarify all circumstances and explore possible assistance options. For contact, our compatriots in Russia can call +7 (965) 756 17 55.
