Several News Websites in Azerbaijan Suspended Amid Ongoing Arrests
Turkologist Karen Hovhannisyan wrote on his Facebook page: “I felt that something was off in Azerbaijan. The dictator in Baku has moved on to the arrest of journalists who covered the July 14th rally demanding war and presented it from a different angle—calling for the government’s resignation. Several news websites have had their operations suspended and arrests are still happening at this moment.”
