Kim Kardashian's Second Post: 'I Want to Tell Everyone Who May Not Know What Is Happening in Armenia'
American reality TV star Kim Kardashian has made her second post today, this time on Instagram. "I want to tell everyone who may not know what is happening in Armenia so that you can support," Kardashian wrote.
She pointed out that amid the ongoing pandemic, Azerbaijan has ignored the UN's call to cease military operations worldwide and has taken an offensive stance against the Republic of Armenia. "The targets of the attack have become civilian infrastructure, and now Azerbaijan is threatening to strike the Armenian nuclear power plant," she added.
At the same time, a vote on the amendments to the U.S. National Defense Authorization Act, which guarantees that the United States will not provide military assistance to Azerbaijan that could be used against Armenia and Artsakh, will take place next week.
The international community must pay attention and intervene, using political and diplomatic means to prevent further escalation and human casualties. I stand with Armenia and pray for those involved in the tensions at the border. I urge you to address your senators and members of the House of Representatives during this challenging time of the pandemic to resolve the situation peacefully," Kardashian emphasized.
