Inspections in Avan for Non-Compliance with Safety Regulations by Operators: AATC
The Health and Labor Inspectorate of Armenia continues its intensified inspections in the Avan administrative district to track non-compliance with safety regulations by operators. Observations in various administrative districts of the capital and provinces are ongoing. Preventing further spread of the coronavirus requires consistent work and raising public awareness, which is the aim of the daily operations of the AATC.
Previously, the Health and Labor Inspectorate had also conducted intensified inspections in the Avan administrative district. Findings indicate that compliance with regulations by operators is now more conscientious. This is also evidenced by the decrease in the number of suspension requests submitted to the commander based on recorded violations.
The most serious violations recorded in the Avan district relate to crowding in retail centers and lack of management of these situations. Such incidents have been noted at a branch of one of the major supermarket chains, for which a suspension request will be submitted to the commander.
AATC specialists note that even if operators have markings to exclude queues and ensure social distancing, citizens' behavior presents challenges. They do not follow the rules and are reluctant to heed the operators' calls. There are also cases of repeated violations where certain norms continue to be disregarded even after inspections and suspensions. In such instances, a stricter approach is applied, with suspensions of activities for 48 and 72 hours.
Today, the AATC continued suspensions primarily in the provinces based on violations. The Health and Labor Inspectorate of Armenia once again emphasizes that separate safety rules are established by the commander for different sectors, including mask-wearing, disinfection, temperature checks, and more. Compliance with these rules in trade, service, office spaces, dental clinics, beauty centers, and other areas is mandatory; otherwise, administrative liability measures will follow.
