Increase in Reports of Bomb Threats: ‘Hraparak’
Recently, there has been a significant increase in reports of bomb threats received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations' crisis management center. These false alarms cause concern for both rescuers and the organizations where the bombs are supposedly planted.
In the past, the authors of such false alarms were typically identified and punished, but recently, there have been no such identifications. Yesterday, another report was received stating that a bomb had been placed at the Blue Mosque on Mashtots Avenue. The emergency services promptly went to the scene and determined that the alert was false.
