Call for Immediate De-escalation of Tensions: U.S. Secretary of State
The United States is deeply concerned about the recent incidents of deadly violence along the Armenian-Azerbaijani international border in the Caucasus region. We express our condolences for the victims and call on both sides to immediately de-escalate tensions, reaffirm substantive dialogue and ceasefire, with the aim of resuming meaningful negotiations with the co-chairs of the Minsk Group.
