What Weather is Expected in the Coming Days
From July 19-20, an anomalously high thermal backdrop is expected in the Ararat and Armavir regions, the foothills of Aragats, the valleys of Syunik, and Yerevan, with daytime temperatures reaching +38 to +40 degrees Celsius. During these days, high fire risk conditions are also anticipated in the valleys and foothill areas of the republic. The intensity of ultraviolet radiation is expected to be above normal. It is advised to avoid direct sunlight from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
In the territory of the republic, on the afternoon of July 15 and from July 16-18, light rain and thunderstorms are expected in some regions, with wind gusts reaching 20-25 m/s during thunderstorms. Hail is also expected in some places. On July 19-20, a dry weather pattern is anticipated. Winds will be from the southwest at 3-8 m/s. The temperature is expected to gradually increase by 5-7 degrees from July 18-20.
In Yerevan, from July 15-20, dry weather is expected.
