68 Residents of Shirak Marz Being Treated for Coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital
As of July 15 at 11:30 AM, 68 residents of Shirak Marz are being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital. This information was provided by the Shirak regional administration.
Since March 1, a total of 6,080 samples have been collected in Shirak Marz healthcare facilities and the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. From May 12 to July 14, 5,726 sample tests were conducted in Gyumri, and on July 14, 57 new cases of coronavirus disease were confirmed.
Currently, there are 920 citizens under home self-isolation in the region, among whom 276 have a positive diagnosis with asymptomatic disease progression, monitored by primary health care services.
A total of 366 residents of Shirak Marz have recovered from the coronavirus and have been discharged from the hospital. Additionally, 45 patients have been transferred to the capital. There have been 25 reported deaths due to the virus.
