NATO Calls to Prevent Further Escalation
The NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia, James Appathurai, stated today that "we are watching with concern the developments on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, where heavy weapons are being used and people are dying." This was reported by Mediamax.
“We join the call of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group to all parties to take necessary measures to prevent further escalation,” the NATO official said.
