Bodyguard Assigned to Judge Who Decided on Robert Kocharyan's Bail Release
After the decision to release the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, on bail, bodyguard protection has been provided to Judge Arsen Nikoghosyan of the Criminal Court of Appeals.
This information was reported to NEWS.am by the Public Relations and Information Department of the Police of Armenia. “Based on the letter received from the Supreme Judicial Council, the police are providing security for Arsen Nikoghosyan in accordance with legal procedures,” the police stated.
It is worth recalling that following the application of a 2 billion dram bail as a measure of restraint against the second president of Armenia, an unprecedented attack against Judge Arsen Nikoghosyan began, which led the Supreme Judicial Council to approach the police regarding ensuring the judge's immunity.
