Environmental and Mining Inspectorate Records 26 Violations Between May 4-8
The Environmental and Mining Inspectorate reported that during inspections and administrative proceedings conducted from May 4 to 8, a total of 26 violations were recorded. Of these, 20 cases resulted in an assessed environmental damage amounting to 7,073,500 AMD, while 6 cases led to administrative fines totaling 640,000 AMD.
In the area of plant protection, 19 violations were recorded, with 16 resulting in environmental damage assessed at 7,022,500 AMD and 3 leading to fines totaling 300,000 AMD.
In terms of animal protection, 6 violations were documented, with 4 resulting in environmental damage of 51,000 AMD and 2 fines amounting to 140,000 AMD.
Additionally, one inspection in the area of air and water protection, waste disposal, and land use and preservation resulted in a fine of 200,000 AMD.
The Ministry of Environment sent 14 cases to the Administrative Court, totaling 2,333,400 AMD in administrative fines.
During the specified period, the state budget received 656,446 AMD.
