Ararat Mirzoyan Discusses Azerbaijani Provocations at CSTO PA Online Meeting

Ararat Mirzoyan, the Speaker of the National Assembly, participated in the online meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Parliamentary Assembly Council. He made a post on his Facebook page regarding the meeting.

“I attended the online meeting of the CSTO PA Council. During the session, I addressed the provocative actions of Azerbaijan in the context of the pandemic.
‘The fight against the pandemic should become an opportunity for the reconciliation of peoples; I believe we all agree with this thought of the UN Secretary-General. However, despite the call from the UN Secretary-General and the global humanitarian crisis that we are all fighting against, Azerbaijan has not refrained from its provocations and the policy of opening fire on peaceful civilians during these days. Such actions are unacceptable, and I expect their condemnation for the purpose of maintaining stability in the region,’” Mirzoyan wrote.
