66 Patients Being Treated for Coronavirus in Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital

In the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital, 66 patients are receiving treatment for coronavirus, with 56 of them being residents of Shirak Province. This information has been announced on the Facebook page of the provincial administration.

A total of 208 residents of Shirak Province have recovered from the virus and have been discharged from the hospital to date. Currently, 1,029 citizens are under home isolation in Shirak Province, with 176 of them having tested positive, albeit with asymptomatic cases, while their health is being monitored by the primary health care sector.

Additionally, 28 patients have been transferred to the capital. There have been 10 recorded deaths due to the virus. Since March 1, a total of 2,972 tests have been conducted in healthcare facilities and at the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Shirak Province. From May 12 to June 12, 1,649 tests have been conducted in Gyumri.
