Narek Sargsyan Transferred to Hospital

Narek Sargsyan, the nephew of the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, has been transferred to a hospital for medical examination. This was stated by his attorney, Arthur Pivazyan, in a conversation with Lurer.com.

“Narek Sargsyan has gone to a civilian hospital for tests based on a doctor's indication, accompanied by penitentiary staff,” elaborated the lawyer. When asked about when the doctors' conclusions would be available, Pivazyan found it difficult to respond.

It is noteworthy that a criminal case was initiated against Narek Sargsyan on June 26, 2018, for illegal acquisition, sale, storage, transportation, or carrying of weapons, military ammunition, explosive substances or explosive devices, and for the illegal circulation of drugs and psychotropic substances.

On July 6, 2018, he was placed on a wanted list, and on July 24, an international wanted notice was issued. Narek Sargsyan was transferred from the Czech Republic to Armenia with the assistance of police officers on December 21, 2019.
