Georgia to Send Medical Team to Armenia
No country can overcome the crisis caused by the coronavirus alone. This was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.
According to him, Georgia is discussing the possibility of aiding neighboring Armenia, and the relevant task has been assigned to the Ministry of Health. “We must show mutual support toward each other. As you know, the situation has worsened significantly in our neighboring countries recently. Personally, I communicate with the Prime Minister of Armenia every day, as well as with the Ministers of Health and Economics, everyone, including the Foreign Minister, and we have already identified what type of assistance our neighbors need. Here, mutual support is extremely important. The Ministry of Health has already received the assignment to prepare the assistance that Georgia can provide to neighboring Armenia. It seems that, first of all, this will be assistance with medical personnel,” Gakharia stated. This was reported by 1tv.ge.
