Vahan Artsruni: Special COVID Unit at Yerevan State Medical University Hospital Remained Empty Since March for Unknown Reasons
Vahan Artsruni, the chairman of the board of trustees of the Yerevan State Medical University, stated on his Facebook page: "Since March, this special COVID unit at the Yerevan State Medical University Hospital has been completely equipped with specialists, equipment, and medical supplies, yet it has remained EMPTY and has not been used for UNKNOWN reasons.
Since March, the university clinic could have admitted and provided care to infected individuals, but it 'went unnoticed' by the Ministry of Health, even though bed and professional resources were nearing depletion. The head of that department preferred not only the 'sorting' of patients but also of medical institutions. Who will be held accountable for this?"
