Tragic Car Accident in Yerevan: BMW X5 Crashes into Iron Fence, Collapses Stone Wall, and Overturns, Resulting in Fatality
Today, June 7, a major and tragic car accident occurred in Yerevan. According to Shamshyan.com, at around 1:20 AM, a 40-year-old resident of Yerevan, Robert Elyazyan, in his BMW X5 with license plate 87 RO 087, collided with the fence of house number 1 on 14th Nubarashen Street under still unknown circumstances. The collision broke the fence, and after continuing forward, he crashed into the wall of house number 1 on 16th Street and overturned.
As reported by the website, residents removed the driver from beneath the vehicle, along with soldiers from the Armenian Defense Ministry’s unit stationed nearby. An emergency medical team from Yerevan arrived promptly at the scene, but they recorded the driver’s death. Due to the collision, the iron grille of one house was broken, and the stone wall was damaged.
