Stepantsminda-Lars Road Open Only for Cargo Vehicles

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that the roads in the Republic of Armenia are passable.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Situations Department and the Russian Federation's Ministry of Emergency Situations North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, due to the state of emergency, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open only for cargo vehicles.

According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision prohibiting foreign nationals from entering Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transport.
