Over 7 Million COVID-19 Cases Recorded Worldwide, Reports Worldometers
Since the onset of the novel coronavirus, over 7 million cases of the disease have been identified globally, reports the Worldometers portal.
To date, there have been 7,004,825 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 402,666 resulting in death. A total of 3,426,149 people have recovered from the virus.
The United States leads in both cases and fatalities, with 1,988,545 recorded infections and 112,096 deaths. The top five countries also include Brazil, Russia, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
