10 Ventilators Sent from Georgia to Armenia
Armenians living in Georgia continue to seek ways to support Armenia in the fight against coronavirus, reports aliq.ge.
With the initiative of the director of "Aliq Media" Pavel Oganesov and support from a foreign friend, 10 artificial ventilators have been purchased from Georgia and are set to be sent to Armenia.
Given the closure of the Armenian-Georgian border, the Armenian embassy in Georgia has expressed its willingness to assist in transporting the devices to Armenia. The portable ventilators of type "MS-500" will be transferred to the Armenian General Benevolent Union.
There are also other support projects underway. Pavel Oganesov has initiated a fundraising campaign under the slogan "One Mask, One Life", which several Armenian volunteers have expressed their willingness to join. The collected funds will be used to purchase masks, which will also be sent to Armenia and distributed to socially vulnerable groups, considering that wearing masks has become mandatory in Armenia and is an unexpected additional financial burden for many families.
