The Yesayan Brothers Deny Summons from the NSS
The news published on June 6 in the "Zhokhovurd" newspaper titled "Haik Yesayan and his brother Alexander Yesayan summoned by the NSS" is not true, reports Ashot Barshegyan, head of the brand development and communication department at "TIM LLC." According to his statement, the Yesayan brothers have never been summoned by the NSS regarding the matters mentioned in the article.
"Zhokhovurd" newspaper had written: "It has become known to us that the former director of "Ucom," Haik Yesayan, and his brother Alexander Yesayan have been summoned by the NSS. The Yesayan brothers reportedly spent quite a long time at the investigative department, where they answered the investigators' questions for about six hours. Our sources indicated that the main respondent was Alexander Yesayan, who has been a key manager of the Khachatryan family's affairs for years. Alexander Yesayan has organized and participated in state competitions regarding digitization and ensured their implementation through a programming company, where the Yesayans own 50% and the Khachatryans the other 50%. Our sources do not rule out that charges may be brought against the Yesayans for participating in particularly large-scale embezzlement and for concealing the criminal origin of the assets acquired through the misappropriation of public funds."
