Beijing Authorities to Provide Residents with $1.7 Billion for Shopping and Dining
Beijing authorities will provide residents with $1.7 billion for shopping and dining. These funds will be distributed in the form of vouchers through the local JD.com online shopping app. The vouchers will be distributed in four phases, and each can be used within 14 days.
According to Bloomberg, Beijing has joined the list of Chinese cities where support will be provided to people against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic to boost the economy.
