Another Triage for Suspected Coronavirus Patients to Operate at the Base of the National Burn Center: Arsen Torosyan
The Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, has announced on his Facebook page that a new triage center for suspected coronavirus patients will commence operations today at the base of the National Burn Center.
“Until now, only the Nork Infectious Diseases Hospital was carrying out such functions. The new center currently has 65 beds and an additional 9 intensive care beds. In a few days, there will be an increase of another 58 beds. In total, we will have an additional 132 beds to address this issue. I want to emphasize that the center will not provide outpatient services but will operate under specific triage procedures, according to which the Yerevan ambulance service will transport patients to the center,” the minister stated.
