What Principles Are Used to Select Photos Posted on the Prime Minister's Page? The Prime Minister's Assistant Clarifies
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's Facebook page has recently been publishing photos and videos of reported violations across the country, where people are holding parties and weddings, not maintaining social distance, and not wearing personal protective equipment, among other things.
Some of these posts, as it later turned out, did not match reality and were removed from the Prime Minister's page.
ArmDaily.am inquired with the Prime Minister's assistant, Nairi Sargsyan, about who selects the photos and based on what principles. In response to our question, Sargsyan noted, "We select the photos and videos with the Prime Minister and a few other staff members, trying to ensure that the information provided by the sender is accurate before publication."
Regarding the observation that some posts later proved to be inaccurate, he responded, "We receive around ten messages per minute from users who review and report, and verifying such a large volume is technically challenging."
