Our Healthcare System Has Shown to Be Very Effective: Prime Minister
Our healthcare system has shown to be very effective, and regarding the number of recovered patients, previously we used to report that number based on all positive diagnoses, whereas now we only report it from cases of severe and particularly severe patients. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during today’s press briefing as he addressed the issue of the low number of recoveries.
In this context, the Prime Minister cited himself and his family members, who have asymptomatic coronavirus infections, noting that their data will be recorded among the total positive diagnoses but will not be counted among the recovered.
The Prime Minister once again called on the population to join the anti-epidemic struggle, engaging other members of the society in maintaining individual behavior and following rules.
“If we can manage to reduce the daily new positive diagnoses by 50 or 100 cases, we will overcome this situation without any shocks,” said Pashinyan.
