Government Commission Established in Connection with the Death of Former NA President Armen Khachatryan
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has decided to establish a government commission in connection with the death of former National Assembly President Armen Khachatryan. The Minister of Foreign Affairs will head the commission.
The decision states, in particular:
“Guided by point 2 of Annex 6 of the Government Decision N 1910-N dated November 23, 2006, and point 16 of Article 7 of the law on 'Government Structure and Activities' of the Republic of Armenia:
- A commission is to be established in connection with the death of the state figure of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Khachatryan, and its individual composition is to be approved according to the annex.
- The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia is to submit to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia a relevant proposal within a 20-day period based on the report of the commission regarding the burial expenses.
