Aviinyan and the Minister of Health Visit Medical Institutions
On June 5, Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Emergency Situations, Tigran Avinyan, and Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan made a tour of the 'Nork Infectious Clinical Hospital' and the 'Saint Grigor Lusavorich' Medical Center. This information was reported by the office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
Accompanied by the heads of the medical institutions, Avinyan and Torosyan became acquainted with the hospital conditions, the treatment process, existing issues, and also toured the departments, inquiring about the patients' health status.
The Deputy Prime Minister paid particular attention to the medical equipment available in the intensive care unit, as well as the capabilities of computed tomography.
At the 'Saint Grigor Lusavorich' Medical Center, attendees learned about the work being carried out for establishing a new department for treating COVID-19 patients.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of maximizing the capabilities and resources of the healthcare system in order to provide the population with high-quality and timely medical services in the fight against the coronavirus.
