388 Citizens Are Self-Isolating in Shirak Province, 65 Positive Cases Reported: Provincial Administration
As of June 5, there are 84 patients being treated for COVID-19 at the Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital, 37 of whom are residents of Shirak province. This information was shared on the official Facebook page of the Shirak Provincial Administration.
The province has 388 citizens under a home self-isolation protocol, of which 65 have tested positive for the virus but are asymptomatic. Their supervision is conducted by primary healthcare services.
Since March 1, a total of 2,269 tests have been conducted in healthcare facilities in Shirak province and at the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. From May 12 to June 4, 946 tests were conducted in Gyumri.
A total of 287 patients have recovered from COVID-19 and have been discharged from the hospital, with 187 of them being residents of the province. There have been 10 recorded fatalities.
