Dinner Ends in Stabbing After Argument

On the night of June 3, a 44-year-old man was transferred to the Armenia Medical Center with stab wounds to the chest. The police department in the Mashtots district received a report regarding the incident. An operational group dispatched to the hospital determined that the man had been brought in from an apartment on Lukashini Street in the Ajapnyak administrative district.

At the scene, investigators found traces of blood, a bloody knife, and other related evidence. Through operational-investigative measures, police in the Mashtots district gathered factual information that the victim had shared a meal with a 55-year-old man, during which a domestic dispute arose, ultimately leading to the stabbing.

The suspect was located in the same neighborhood and was taken into custody by the police. The knife, which is preliminarily believed to be the murder weapon, was confiscated along with other blood-like traces found in the apartment. Investigations are ongoing to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
