Worldometer International Statistical Service Presents New Coronavirus Data
According to the Worldometer International Statistical Service, the total number of coronavirus infections worldwide has reached 6,452,390. A total of 382,479 people have died, and 3,066,696 have recovered.
Currently, the number of active cases in the world stands at 3,003,215. The condition of 54,528 (2%) patients is assessed as severe or critical.
The United States continues to lead in both the number of infections and deaths. So far, 1,881,205 people have been infected in the U.S., with 108,059 deaths.
Brazil ranks second in the number of cases (558,237), followed by Russia (423,741), Spain (287,012), and the United Kingdom (277,985).
In terms of deaths, the United Kingdom follows the U.S. with 39,369 fatalities, Italy has reported 33,530 deaths, Brazil has 31,309, and France has 28,940.
